We first met through an online dating site, Yahoo Personals. It took some time before I actually decided to move forward pass the phone and internet chat. We finally met at Magic mountain and it was an instant connection that day. Not long after that we headed to Murfield to watch Tiger play! This whirlwind romance landed us on a family  vacation in Florida.
So.... it came down to the most beautiful place in the world...or at least what I have seen anyhow...Niagara Falls. This is where Rick managed to purpose to me as we were waiting for the fireworks over falls to begin...Rick was soo nervous but I blew it off...he had so much to say in his purposal that he only got out bits and pieces of what he wanted to say because the boys kept interupting us. Finally he said, " I dont know what else to say"... The rest in history as they say it...The picture below was our view from the pool at our hotel...right down in the courtyard on the circle is where we were sitting....

So the date is April 4, 2009. It was the only date in April available at the North Bank Park Pavilion, which is sooooooooo pretty. It is considered one of the most utilized places for weddings in Central Ohio. It overlooks the Scioto River, and in the night time the lights from downtown are spectactular!! I have put a few pictures below to showcase this building. We will be having both the ceremony and the reception at this location.

Most everyone asks me "Why did you choose April"? Well...I want a bling wedding. Bling on the cake, bling of the wedding invitations, bling anywhere that I can put it without going overboard. When you think of "BLING" you think or Diamonds....so diamond happens to be the birthstone for April. April is in the "Spring", Spring reminds me of Yellow. Yellow is our birthstone. Ricks birthday is November 3, and mine is November 4th.  To carry the theme of citrine and diamonds, my wedding band will reflect this.

My absolute FAVORITE color is RED!  AND it helps that we are die hard OSU buckeye fans sooo...it goes without saying a whole lot that RED will be a given! So we are using Red for the bridesmaid dresses and then Yellow roses with Red tips. Symbolizing friendship and love blended together.

To this day I atribute the fact that my grandfather always told me that he wanted me to find a "good Italian boy". Well FINALLY, I found one( well half of one =-) )  and he can't be there to meet him. My grandfather is the main reason, I believe for finding Rick.( Actually he found me first!) So I especially feel the need to add the yellow rose someway, somehow to our blessed union.  It was his favorite flower, therefore since he can not be with us to celebrate on this day...he will be there with us in our hearts.

So the wedding is tentively scheduled for 430pm and then party till 10pm.  We planned on having a "small" wedding but the guest list is ever so growing out of control!

So Italian food is a must, and our absolute favorite place is Carrabba's! The reception will be catered by Carrabba's. This place has the best Italian food that we have come across so far!

Also for the BIG and little kids is a caricture artist. He is really good! He will be available after the cake cutting to draw. I met him at a work outing and he takes about 10-12 minutes per drawing. These would also be for you to take home and they will be given to you in a protective sleeve.

Be prepared...instead of a traditional guestbook, we will be having a photobooth available to take pictures for the guestbook and you can put your name or a short message to us. Also you will get a copy to take home with you!

I would like to make sure that EVERYONE has a great time. We will have an open bar, with limited varieties. We will have Champagne, wine (my favorites), beer,Dr. McGillicuddy's (For The Field people!) and 2 types of alcohol, Canadian Club whiskey, and Bacardi Rum. So hopefully this will cater to most of everyone's palates!! -- Featuring a signiture drink as well-- the Bellini!

There is  other free parking as well in a lot just northwest of the pavilion.

I have found this one Lady that has been wonderful to me and Rick. If you know ANYONE that might be planning a wedding or an event and need a little or ALOT of extra help- Please contact:

http://www.effortlesseventsbyanita.com/

Even though I have planned almost this entire event, she has helped me tie up loose ends and will help coordinaqte the day of the wedding. Anita is her name and she has helped me in so many ways I can't even tell you! She has many resources and has saved me more money that I would have imagined for our wedding. I highly suggest her.

Also we are using Rev. Eric Davidson at:
